 With finals coming up, I've been thinking a lot about time management and goals and the like. I don't have as much time as I'd like to do the things that I love, and really, I'd like to balance my life better so that I have time to explore new stories, new characters, and new ideas.

It's been a year. It's been Real. But it's time for me to move on.

As far as my characters go, Sigma's professor has been working with Louisiana (among others) to get Sigma a fellowship at a prestigious university on Emerald Cove. He's moving there at the end of April to get set up in a place where, hopefully, he can continue his studies safely away from Charon's watch. Maine will be joining them and their found sister, Louisiana, and a few other refugees from Charon, Oquirrh included. It's exciting and terrifying and strange but they're looking forward to their new life.

In the meantime, I'm happy to finish the dinner and anniversary threads, as well as tag Maine helping Wash with his cat. I'll just be really slow.

Sorry y'all but it's about time for me to leave this little community and all. It's been definitely something over the past year or so with all of the good and bad but I haven't exactly done anything particular in weeks now so it feels like a good time to head off. This decision is mostly due to the slew of medical issues that have caught my own family off guard as well as school which is starting to ramp up a lot.

The fine folks I run will be leaving Adaptive as well. Louisiana now having known the truth about her father as well as no real fighting occurring in terms of the Gulch territory has renounced her ties to Control in order to focus on family and her own growth as a mercenary. Jersey followed along in her footsteps since partners don't leave each other behind. Accompanied by a few lowers (mostly ones I gave names to) these two are no longer welcome on Adaptive and are going to stick with Maine and Oquirrh in order to support and protect Sigma as he studies on Emerald Cove. So at least one of the nerds will be getting to go home. Still family comes first afterall.

Anyway it was fun while I was here and I'll still be available over on skype and plurk. Áu revoir!
